Violin lessons in Fairfax County

As a European trained teacher and performer of the violin, providing violin lessons in Fairfax County, a number of my advanced students have performed as soloists in the greater Washington metropolitan area. Many others have successfully auditioned for the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (AYPO), the Youth Orchestra of Fairfax, the Youth Orchestra of Prince William, the Loudon Symphony Youth Orchestra, DC Youth Orchestra, and the Washington Youth Foundation Orchestra under Young K. Choi, music director.

My students have both auditioned for and been accepted in the VBODA organized Junior District Orchestra; Senior District Orchestra; Senior Regional Orchestra; and Virginia All-State Orchestra.

Mrs. Segesvary is a member of the Music Teachers National Association , Virginia Music Teachers Association, and the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association. She has also served as a judge for the Solo & Ensemble Festival in Virginia.
